Natural dye
Yesterday I did this project I had on my list: natural dye with avocado shells and pits. You collect a few avocado’s, clean them and then cook them for half an hour.
The water becomes a bordeaux, really beautiful color. Then you put a cotton fabric in it; I am using my old damaged cotton mosquito nets. Let it soak in the soup as long as you think looks nice and out comes this really pretty light pink color.
So nice to get this result with just things around the house! I am going to use this fabric for the dust bags around my accessories.
